Fox News host Geraldo Rivera confirmed that he’s still hosting as a panelist on “The Five” following a break from the network while traveling.

Rumors quickly began circulating that Rivera was stepping away as Fox News is reportedly undergoing a major shake-up in personalities.

🚨 POLL: Is Fox News falling apart?
YES 👍 or NO 👎

79-year-old Rivera recently took a shot at former Fox News host Tucker Carlson for propagating “bulls***” on his show.

“I don’t wish ill on anybody, but there is no doubt-as I said at the time-Tucker Carlson’s perverse January 6 conspiracy theory was ‘bullshit,’” Rivera said.

“He added, “Having lost the election President Trump incited an insurrection that sought to undermine our Constitutional process.”

Greg Gutfeld responded sarcastically, “You’re a class act Geraldo. A real man of the people.”

More on this story:

Rivera will return to the network following reports of a major shakeup in primetime.

Sean Hannity will move into Carlson’s old time slot as the comparateively lower-rated “Fox News Tonight” will be dropped from the lineup.

Meanwhile, Jesse Watters and Gutfeld will each reportedly move into the network’s prime-time lineup as well.

It is not clear what will become of Laura Ingraham’s “The Ingraham Angle.”

UPDATE, May 18, 2023: In an email to The Western Journal after this article’s publication, a Fox News representative said, “No decision has been made on a new primetime line-up and there are multiple scenarios under consideration. Reports based on various tweets by left wing activists are wildly inaccurate — Laura Ingraham, the top-rated woman in cable news, is now and will continue to be a prominent host and integral part of the FOX News lineup.”
