Barack Obama won his second Emmy for best narrator, John Mulaney won his third for writing on his Netflix standup special, and Carol Burnett took her seventh Emmy for best prerecorded variety special.

The Creative Arts Emmy Awards honored various artists and crew members in television, with winners including Keke Palmer, “I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson,” “Queer Eye,” and “Welcome to Wrexham.”

“I can’t wait to show this award to our son for a special he will never, ever be allowed to watch,” Mulaney said.

The awards preceded the main Emmy ceremony, which was delayed due to Hollywood’s strikes.
